1. How much will the CIE Hong Kong project cost in 2023?
2023 is the first time that CIE will resume the Hong Kong International Study Program after the end of the epidemic. Our purpose is to allow diverse students from different institutions to grow together in Hong Kong for 5 days. For this reason, our 2023 policy is that as long as there are 4 students from different colleges or schools participating together, we will exempt all the project fees for the 4 students, and only need to pay the application fee of 299 yuan to participate in CIE for free beneficial Hong Kong project.
2. Are all CIE projects well received?
The 100% praise of the project is the constant goal of CIE for 13 years. Every year, there are about 4,000 students participating in the Si Ai Yi project around the world. According to the statistics of third-party organizations, in 2018-2019, we received praise from more than 98% of the project students. Applicants usually get in touch with CIE project through the following channels: introduction of CIE partners, internet search, recommendation from school teachers, etc. At the same time, each student has a different purpose of participation: obtaining certificates, broadening knowledge, exercising ability, etc. The difference in the way to understand the project will lead to the students' uneven understanding of the project, and the contrast between the final harvest and the initial participation goal is the main reason for the negative evaluation of a very small number of students. 3. Is there any cooperation between CIE project and our school? What is CIE Partner?
The sustainable development of CIE relies on the word-of-mouth of the project and the continuous support of project alumni. Due to the cooperation with the school, expensive cooperation costs will be incurred, and the cooperation costs will eventually be passed on to the project fee, which will affect the low-cost and high-quality project route that CIE always adheres to, and ultimately fail to benefit applicants. Therefore, 100% of the CIE partner teams established by our 200 colleges and universities at home and abroad are managed by CIE alumni, who are responsible for publicity and communication. The partner mechanism gives trainees continuous exercise after the project is over, and partners have more opportunities to obtain CIE through their work results, such as participating in CIE's annual overseas annual meeting. 4. Does the CIE project certificate have any gold content?
The CIE project certificate is not obtained by signing up to participate in the project. Participants need to complete various team tasks in the project and get the approval of the judges before they can be awarded. At the same time, some certificates will vary due to the overall performance of the students' projects. For example, in the business case competition held at the National University of Singapore, only the top three teams in the competition can get a letter of recommendation from the NUS professor; in the investment banking competition in New York, only the top three teams can get a competition certificate issued by the vice president. All certificates of the project are issued by corporate executives and professors from top world-renowned schools, which can be identified by job seekers\overseas schools. At the same time, students participating in the project need to understand that the certificate you have obtained is based on your performance during the project. It can add to your resume, but you should not rely on the certificate to change your future. We believe that the certificate itself cannot change the world, but leave it to the person who has the certificate to change. We encourage students of the CIE project to maintain a positive learning attitude outside the project, and constantly explore their own advantages, so that the certificate obtained by the project can better match your personal resume.
5. Are freshman students or international high school students suitable for applying for the program?
The main target group of the CIE project is freshman to junior students, and each project will control the proportion of students in junior or above grades to no more than 30%. We encourage freshmen and even international high school students to apply for the project bravely. The competition of professional knowledge has never been the main purpose of the CIE project, but team assistance, adaptability, and stress resistance are the main assessment criteria of the project, and the acquisition of these abilities Different from the knowledge in textbooks, it can only be exercised in real situations.
