Internship Report Accreditation

The Internship Report is a summary of your internship experience and is required by many employers to complete your time with their organization. The practicum report is important because it informs your educators about the lessons and skills you have learned and the opportunities you have to apply those skills.

Your internship report includes relevant details about your internship experience, such as your job description in the organization, tasks you completed and skills you learned. Your advisor can use this report to improve internship opportunities or classes for incoming students.

The Internship Report covers key details of your internship experience. It should also include an overview of the skills you have developed, and of course you should follow any instructions the internship employer gives you regarding your report. These instructions may include required content, format, deadlines, etc.

In the corporate study part of the Business One project, students are required to complete the internship report, and according to the standards organized by Professioanl Qualification Accreditation (specific reference: www.pqa.com) and provide certification and seriousness certificates for the completed internship report.

The internship report should include:

1. Internship report directory

It is also useful to include a table of contents in the internship report. This should be the first page of the report, as it allows readers to navigate to the part of the report they are most interested in reading.

2. Include background information about the company

Your report should include a relevant history of the organization. Include information such as the date of establishment, the purpose or mission statement of the business, the types of tasks the company accomplishes each day, and any other relevant details. Context gives readers a clearer picture of your experience.

3. Include your position and responsibilities in the internship

The body of the internship report will focus on your experience with the organization. Before describing in detail your experience and the lessons you have learned, it is useful to describe your position and responsibilities as an intern with the company. Doing so will give your readers a more complete picture of your internship and allow you to discuss your accomplishments in the position.

4. Summarize ongoing considerations

It's also useful to think about skills or experiences you still want to develop. For example, if you would like to be able to have a more immediate customer experience, have a discussion. You can also mention this if you wish to get more involved with the technical side of the business. This process gives you insight into what you would like to continue working on in your next role, while also recommending ways the organization can improve its internship program.
